Noticed him limping the past few days and took him into the vet. X-rays showed a bad ball & socket on rear left leg and he said he is 99% sure he needs FHO surgery and gave us a couple referrals. He is having his consult this Thursday.

Can anyone chime in on what to expect, recovery time, etc.? I feel just horrible and my gf was of course, crying when the vet told us.

I hope everything will be alright and that he will be out of pain and able to run like he wants to in the near future.
