Sounds like he never made it back to pick up his credit card. Maybe you can request the hotel send it to the bank directly and/or have the credit card call and request it. Probably easiest would be to have it cancelled asap it seems.
Not to throw a twist in here as I'm sure you know you've talked directly to your son but I just read this scam where these people call in the middle of the night. i.e. Grandma received a call in the middle of the night with someone saying grandma this is your grandson/granddaughter, no name, hoping that they know they have a grandchild but ... anyway they say grandma this is your so n so, I'm in trouble and need some money, can you wire it to me? and wa la, granny has sent some unknown person some fundage. |
