Aw. That story made me cry. I'm so glad that last nurse let her see her doggie. Humans and dogs have the strongest bonds, it's almost like children.
I have an aunt with schizophrenia and agoraphobia, so she never leaves the house, and her min pin and poodle are her children since her daughter is grown.
It's so good to hear that there are people who still care. I can't believe those other nurses said no.
Maybe you should talk to her doctor, he could maybe pull some strings and get her regular visits.
