 Prayers for Lena-Emma & Milli's Sheltie friend
One of my friends has a Sheltie named Lena, who is about 3 years old. She has been throwing up for 5 days, and went to the vet on Friday because she couldn't keep anything down. They kept here there over the weekend to keep a close eye on her and to give her IV fluids, but today she is not doing well again. She is throwing up and has diarrhea now, and her front legs are all wounded and bloody where she has pulled out her IV's numerous times. They are taking her into surgery now to see what is causing her sickness-they believe she has something in her stomach that is blocking her digestive tract and causing her intestine to swell. She has been known to get into the trash and have snacks, so I'm hoping it's just something that can be easily removed and this lil' girl will feel better soon!
