This story really got to me and Im just so glad that you kept asking. That nurse has NO IDEA how much happiness she brought your aunt that day.
You should deffinately talk to her doctor and even let him know that she even ate her lunch when she came back from her visit with her furbaby.
Pets can heal and comfort their owners and that is a proven fact. Thank that nurse!

Send her a thank you card.Tell that nurse that because of her saying yes, your aunt felt strong enough to eat her meal that had been sitting there for hours. Some people can be so cold and imune to those suffering because they see it everyday and soon they don't feel anything. I guess it's a defence mechanism or some people dont believe how a pet can make someone feel better.

I truly hope they consider her situation as it seems there is nothing else they can medically do for her. This is the least they can do and best of all its free!

Thank you for sharing your story
