My guys are chipped and they wear collars/tags AT ALL TIMES. Fitting a collar for a small dog is *much* different than for large dog - but it can be done safely.
I can't tell you HOW many times in my area I've heard people say "
WHAT IS A MICROCHIP?"...
...That's all I need to hear to know I need to have my guys tagged
at all times. I've used collars/tags for i.d. purposes for my pets for 35 years - and I've never had a single issue.
