I am glad you guys found them but as a parent I hope he is so grounded for "life" for what he did to you and his parents. Storming out over a issue with a sibling is not the right way to handle it. Then flagging down cars with unknown people is even worse. If I would have did something like that My own grandma would have chewed me from one end to another. So I hope you let him have it after you gave him hugs and kisses.
