When Franklin was younger and lighter I took him almost everywhere with me! He came to the mall, to the grocery store.. etc. I never took him to places where he'd have to stay in his carrier for too long though (like restaurants or the movies). Of course now he's extremely heavy so we don't go many places unless he is specifically allowed!
