I called my vet they said they recommended the bordatella injections also but that I would have to leave my puppies over night for observation. Because Yorkies are known to have negitave reaction to it. Thanks for all the advice everyone!
I agree that all vaccines should be given early on. All vaccines! Then that should be it. Think about it, we get vaccines as children we dont go in once a year and get boosters. Once your immune system recognizes these viruses it will not get it. But I still do get the rabies every three years because of the law factor. If your dog heaven forbid ever bit someone (mine never would) and they were not current on their Rabies Vaccine. The law suits would be ON! |
If a animal has not had the rabies vaccine and it bites a person, then they have to test a part of the dog's brain.
I have heard many things about not getting a dog annual vaccines too. It is now recognised as unecessary, as well as poentially dangerous.
