So sorry you had to go thru that experience and i have gone thru the same thing except I had taken him to visit his breeder and she was showing me how matted he was underneath and I though i had been doing a good job!! Well we agreed to shave him and although it was a shocker I realized it was for his own good and it grew back quickly and really nice!! so rest assure he will be cuter than ever before you know it...try putting on a cute summer tee shirt on him that will make him look cute and help get thru this difficult time!!
