I was outraged when I saw the discussion about drop ears versus ears that stand up. I just lost my drop eared Yorky and there was no more beautiful boy inside and out. People always stopped to talk to him because he was simply so gorgeous and sweet. To imply that there is something less Yorkiy about a driop eared is ridiculous. Quite frankly, that is the way they were originally bred before the crazed desire to add ears that stand up. Actually, he was actually more calm and lovable than some stand up eared Yorkies. |
