Yes Jade mats very easily also close to the skin. I try to stay on top of them. She was full of mats when I got her from the breeder. Breeder said from playing with her litter mates. I had to cut some out. She is fine now. Every so often I catch a mat and I usually can comb it out. I use Pantene shampoo and conditioner on my 2 babies. I blow them dry too. If I dont blow them dry then their hair is curly. Why is it curly? I thought Yorkies had straight hair?
