Will they get to stay in their foster homes? Will that awful breeder have to pay for the medical bills of the sick dogs? If anything, she should atleast pay bills (it is her fault they are in that condition in the first place) AND not be allowed to keep any of those dogs!!!!

Apparently the numbers that will need to be returned are still up in the air, and they have hired a new lawyer that has more experience with this sort of thing. He says he doesn't blame the judge; she had to do what the law required her to do, and said that he hopes the new lawyer can present a better case. I thought it was interesting that her vet was the one who turned her in. Great to know that there are ethical vets out there, and not just in it for the money.
