The canned ID formula is not a good food, regardless that it is sold by your vet. There is tons of information here on food ingredients, what to look for and what to stay away from. Please consider another food source. I would highly recommend a low fat content, lower protein content raw diet (ie; The Honest Kitchen) or a good quality baked kibble such (is; Life4K9, Eagle Pack Holistic) or consult with a pet nutritionist. Using pancreatic enzymes might help a lot as well.
I completely agree about these babies being our heart and soul. Hope you get great results!!!!!!
