Exactly a ploy to make money. It is all about for profit, and not what is in the best interest of those puppies. This is why it is never a good idea to buy from a petstore.
Unfortunately many people do not see it as a problem or understand what the implications are in supporting pet stores who sale puppies for profit. What a shame.
