You can put a treat in the kong..even wipe a dab of peanut butter in it with your finger..there isn't much to eat, but they love the taste and smell...
I do not give my raw hides..but they do chew on Nyla bones..puppies do seem to enjoy the soft toys and chewing on them is good for the gums and teeth..
