I just went through this . Well Lola just went through this.Her 2 bottom teats were engorged. By the 4th or 5th day they looked like two swollen testicles. She was already on Antibiotics from her c-section. I sent you a PM telling you the whole story.My vet suggested expressing some of the milk from the swollen teats.Using cabbage leaf to reduce swelling.The instructions are in the PM I sent you.
The cabbage Leaf did work ! I did some reading about it and this is what many woman put in their bras after they give birth to bring the swelling down. I thought Lola's teats were severe ,it was lumpy like cottage cheese and the veins/tiny vessels were dark purple looking. Within 2 days of the cabbage leaf plus squeezing some milk out.The swelling went down. The lumps took about a week to go down.
A quick visit to the vet is the best suggestion just so you can get Amoxcillin
at least.
