Oh gosh, I sure hope this goes o.k. With my first litter, I knew Caty was going to have her babies but I had to go to work (it was either go or get fired). I took Caty to spend the day at my vet's, who was also a breeder of Yorkies. She wasn't comfortable at the vet's, obviously, as she didn't have her babies even though by all signs she should have. Well, within 10 minutes of getting her home and settled in, she started her delivery. Everything went fine and she had 3 healthy babies. I'm only saying this to re-enforce just how important it is to have the mom calm and relaxed. Stay with her, talk with her, rub her belly a bit if that's what she wants. Just keep mom calm....she's very needy and vulnerable now and misses her mommy. You can do it...just don't get excited and show her any nervousness. She'll pick up on it. Good luck with everything.
