I find the yorkies to very intelligent and trainable so why can't they be used as service dogs??? I think it is awesome he complaiments your needs.
Sounds like he has picked up on some of your disablities and since they are loyal companions he wants to give something back. Sounds like you and your yorkie pal have come together for a reason...
