I always do want to use it as a teaching moment but then I am afraid that if I tell them they are wrong ,they will think I'm as rude as I think they are. lol. But I will try to overcome my fear and educate people! I have told some people about standards and such, and that there's no such thing as a teacup. (B/c I definitely get that annoying question allllllllll the time even though paddy is 5 lbs.) But I only do it if I feel the person is receptive to it.
I meet too many people like the one megansmomma met here on the upper west side, that think they know everything and will argue with you. So it is difficult.
I actually had a lady with three very fat pugs tell me I was walking my dog too fast when it was hot the other day. I was like...actually this is really slow for him, perhaps you should walk your dogs a little faster.
