is there any thing i can add to her diet to keep her healthy and keep her energy up? the vet just said to feed her puppy food and water, which she is eating fine, just thought extras would help her out.

Mom is naturally going to look a little lean while she is nursing, especially if she is a young mother. I would recommend puppy food and water but give her all you can get her to eat. Late in the evening I offer Frozen Bil-Jac as an extra meal.
