I am kinda glad that I took Haruka to many places even when she was smaller.. because now she is such a traveler and I don't have to worry at all... She just loves going places and sleeps through in the car
I haven't read everyone else's response (yet) but I saw some good suggestions. I also bring wipes... I usually bring bring wipes that you can buy it like 99 cents at pharmacy.. for 15-16 of them or something like that. I use it for myself..... so I have a couple of them in the car.... I don't know if it would be better to use the doggie wipe if the dog licks their private parts? But Haruka doesn't.. so I never need to worry. Haruka is pretty good about not having mess when she goes to bathroom. But sometimes some dogs can get nervous.. or react in change of the places..etc.. so they may have soft poop etc.... I also bring a lot of water for us and Haruka to drink on road trip
One time... she had an accident in the car... (only because I didn't recognize the sign of her saying "I need to go"... soon enough...) and I was so glad that I had a couple bottles of water. There was no access to water for sometime.. so I was able to wash some stuff... and she also felt good after being wiped etc.... it was only one time thing.. but I was glad to have some wipes and waters in the car.
