Hi Everyone: I'm sorry I haven't been around much over the last couple of months. It has been a difficult time. My beloved best friend, my 14-year old Maltese Meckie lost her battle with collapsed trachea yesterday. She hasn't been well for months, toward the end she needed 24/7 care. By yesterday, she just couldn't go on any longer- she couldn't breath, she was hungry but couldn't eat, she didn't have the strength to walk. After an agonizing night, I took her to our family vet, held her tight and let her go to her peace. I am heartbroken. This hurts so badly I can literally feel it. I can't stop crying. I know that time heals but I'm having a pretty hard time believing it right now. I knew you'd all understand. Nancy-
