Do you mean leg perthes? That is a hip problem...if that is it...then yes I have fostered three Yorkies that have had that operation and am currently fostering an 8 month old who is scheduled for surgery next week to have his hip fixed... myfoster is limping...did the vet do an x-ray?
The post recovery has not been bad for any of my fosters, better than the patella surgeries...for the hip surgery they want the dog to use the hip/leg where the patella surgery you need to keep the dog confined for a longer period of time...
