You don't have to go grainless but a few of them are common allergens.
I would avoid corn altogether. You could homecook if you want. Talking to a nutritionist before doing that is probably best.
Allergy testing for food isn't something I'd do.
An elimination diet is best.
If you are going with Natural Balance, I think they have a couple foods that are good for allergies (like duck and sweet potato).
