If you got water in it, it is probably a yeast infection (very common).
It is best to let the vet look and do a cytology to see exactly what is going on.
You might try putting cotton balls in his ears when he is going to get wet. You can also use a cleaner after baths. It would probably help dry them. We use Chlorhexiderm.
