I did not see last nights shows, but we love to watch all the nanny shows. My children (14,12,10,8) are always shocked by what they see!
I also then get to take the opportunity, to remind them of how our family is
not allowed to behave that way!!
I am always amazed at the children's behavior!! But more importantly the lack of parental response to the behavior.
I can't even begin to understand what the parents are thinking. Isn't our job as parents to raise honest, well rounded, hardworking, members of society? If your children aren't taught that at home were are they going to get it!
What would I have done if they were my kids? First, I would have given them...my 'evil eye'. I would explain that we do not allow that behavior and why. Finally, she would have to spend the rest of the day sitting on their bed!! If she comes out she will be in there tomorrow, too. I think spitting on someone is a huge offense and the punishment would be just as huge.
