There is a chance I might be getting a new puppy soon. My husband & I both work. My hubby potties Logan in the morning & then we come home at lunch for an hour & then are home at 4-4:30. When Logan was about a year & a half he earned free roam of the house. And has done excellent. The new puppy is older (5 months), but it's still too young to be left out. How do you make this work? I'm afraid if i put the new puppy in the playpen Logan will spring him. And if I put him in a cage they might hurt themselves trying to get together. We could try seperate rooms, but i'm afraid they'd carry on something aweful. Does anyone have any tips?

Also would it hurt Logan's feeling if we took the new puppy to our remaining softball games. I would want the new puppy to go & get socialized, but Logan can't go because he gets too excited & barks pretty much the whole time.
