Oh my, tears when I read that. Amazing! I know the feeling well, though not with a puppy but a lil boy next door. I tried for 5 months to get just a lil smile or anything out of him, and he would not come near me or even look at me. FINALLY one day he came to my house with his lil sister and he sat on the porch and started clapping... so I clapped as many times as he did each time,and he smiled.. it made my world! Now he comes over and sits in my lap and loves on me all the time.... he is autistic so this is HUGE..... and reading your story with your wonderful lil fur baby gave me tears of joy just as Nathanial did with just a smile. Congrats I know you are over the moon with this!
