Never had ProPec in pill form. Honestly, I didn't even know it existed that way! What I've used has been a brown 'paste' like substance that I put on the roof of the mouth...
Not sure how old your little one is...it is possible that he is loosing his baby teeth right now and growing his adult ones? I know that can often cause these problems. Plus, if his mouth is sore, that may be why he is being a picky eater right now.
