I would not give him the new food that you say you switched him too--it is highly likely that it is the root of the problem. I wouldn't give him ANY food until it has cleared up....just the chicken and rice. That is pretty common advice in a case like this. Also, be sure that he is getting plenty of water as diarreah can dehydrate this little ones pretty quickly.
When his symptoms have cleared, I would feed him the older food he was accustomed to eating and then
gradually swap him over to something different.
How is he this morning? Any better?
