I am a school teacher as well and we go back in 2 weeks
I have 3 babies and they also stay in my laundry room. It is a large room 10X10 and they always stay there when we go out and during the day for naps. They rarely have accidents in there unless someone is sick. Once I go back to school I know they will miss the naps on the couch and going out with mommy to run errands. My oldest daughter is in college and she is in and out most of the day and I get home at 3:30. It really isn't so bad, mine sleep most of the day. I am sure yours will be fine
