 Back to school soon...crate or not?
I'm a teacher and will be going back to school in a couple of weeks. My Lucy will be 4 1/2 months old. Currently her "room"/crate is in the laundry room. She sleeps in it all night and has no accidents. When she's left alone, we leave her in the laundry room with her crate door open and s he pees on the tile. When we go back to school, she'll be alone all day and I don't want pee all in my grout. Is it okay to leave her in her room/crate until we get home? She can hold it that long at night so my husband says she can hold it that long during the day. I don't know what to do otherwise. The puppy pads aren't something we want to get started and I tried it anyway and she didn't use them either. Thanks for your input. |
