That is absolutely horrifying!! I couldn't find a link to email the State Attorney's Office but did send this message to The Suncoast Animal League:
My name is Bettye Miller and I am with Yorkie Rescue Colorado, Grand Junction, CO. I have seen what I thought were the most disgusting, filthy backyard breeders ever. Clearly, I have not until now. I belong to a forum of more than 34,000 members from around the world and every single person loves their animals and care for them like children! Teresita Hughes is a monster and I cannot believe that your judge returned even ONE of those poor animals to her!! If this is an example of the laws of your county/city/state, then I never care to visit there again nor will my children or grandchildren!! Doesn't anyone there have the compassion to care enough to do something to stop this?
