I do go to a state school, with tuition, books and living expenses I'm going to need close to $10,000. I also do fill out the FAFSA, the first two years it awarded me enough money but last year it didn't and I'm afraid it's not going to this year either. Part of the problem is due to my parents not submitting my fafsa until the middle of june, then we were selected for "dependant verfication" which means we have to send them our tax returns, w-2, etc so they can make sure all the information is correct. So now since it's almost August 1st, I'm worried that most of the aid available has already been awarded. |
