I was actually jogging on the sidewalk and the last time I checked sidewalks are public property. Anyway, the Animal Control officer has been trying to contact this owner for the past two days. She left two notices on the door. The notices were removed, but there has been no contact, so the animal control said she was going to issue a citation and since I got scratched and bruised on my arm, the dog would have to be quarantined for 10 days. I feel a little bad that this has to happen since Ginger doesn't seem to be seriously injured, but this all could have been avoided if she had her crazy dog on a leash and we have a little girl in our neighborhood and I want to ensure this doesn't happen again!! Thank you for all your comforting words and support. Ginger gives kisses to you all!! |

Hon...don't you dare feel the least bit bad for this person or their dog....luckily it turned out ok....THIS TIME....
This owner needs to learn that there are leash laws for a reason!

and I guess she needs to learn the hard way!
