I also had no problem knowing that part of the money was going to save another baby's life.
My other thing is if you cannot afford a high adoption fee then you should consider adopting at a later time. Anything can happen to these little ones and you have to be prepared to pay for high vet bills. I have seen so many little ones come back to rescue after being adopted because they got hurt or sick and the owners could not afford the vet bills. Again sorry if I offended anyone but this is how I feel but I also want to thank you for thinking rescue. | GREAT POST. I'd like to also add that I adopted Lilly. She was 13 weeks old and her cost was $400. It included a spay, vetting, shots and heart work preventative. She is now a little over a year old and beautiful. And for those that think only larger Yorkies are available for adoption, you are wrong. Lilly is 3.5 lbs. full grown. I also have larger Yorkies and I love them just as much. Elaine |
