I went on frontline's website a few weeks ago and they have a short video of how to apply it. Anyway, the woman on the video said that after around 24 hours, the product has absorbed into their sweat glands and that it's ok to wash them. She didn't say anything about having to use a specific shampoo. So I just use Earthbath and so far, so good! HTH!
