My aunt bred Dobies and they were terrible about biting if you came near their pups...I have never had a Yorkie mom bite me or family...they have barked at strangers who came in the room, but if I told them it was okay, they settled down.
I like to pick my puppies up several times a day to get htem used to human touch..very important to start early...
I would put mom outside or in another area of the house each AM/PM...then you can give the pups a once over...I trim nails at 2 weeks..and make sure the eyes are okay. I like tohold them close and kiss them..they make better pets when they are used to human touch from day one IMO...good luck |
