I should of know better than to be bragging about how easy it is to get a tuition answer loan to help with financial aid on a few thread a couple days ago..it has definitely came back around and bite me square in the *** today!
I need to vent a little because it hasn't been a good night here at my house. I am still waiting to find out how much financial aid the school will give me for this up coming semester. I went to talk to them about it today and they said it could be up to 3 more weeks before I know anything...tuition is due on the 15th. If I haven't paid it by the due date, I will be charged interest even if my financial aid is still pending!
So I came home and tried to apply for a sallie mae tuition answer loan to cover my cost of tuition, books, and living expenses for the semester but it declined me saying I needed a cosigner! I didn't need one last semester but I do now? So anyway, Blake told me to try him as my cosigner and it rejected him too! He then tried applying for a loan because the school isn't offering him enough money to even cover his tuition and it rejected his as well! Now we have no idea what we're going to do. No one in my family has good enough credit to cosign for me and his family is refusing to cosign for him. At this point, I'm seriously thinking about not taking classes this year to work full time just so I can pay our bills. Blake mentioned working first but he's so close to graduating, there is no way I can let him quit. I don't want to, but we can't afford it if we don't get aid from somewhere. I hate being up in the air, having no idea what to do.
