I think your baby will be fine. The same thing happened to my Diddy at the same age except he slipped on the hardwood stairs. He was really hurting and limping. The vet tok an xray found a fracture $300 for that visit he recommended a specialist ($400) who took another xray and recommended $3400 surgery which I could not afford. I elected to let his leg heal on his own as he was a growing pup with rest which as you know is very hard. I am happy to report that his leg has healed and he is back to normal although he sometimes favor the leg.
