hey that is a surgery i actually know a little about....i helped do a few of them with the podiatrist at the hospital i worked at....that surgery is awesome...not really alot of pain afterwards....some but not really bad...no where near the pain you have been having.....it is very similar to carpal tunnel surgery....works great if that is indeed the problem...i will keep you in my prayers
