When I was little I couldn't say my own name
when asked my name I would proudly say "icky ocky" which the "ocky" part is suppose to be my surname is nothing like what it actually is! lol My parents used to call me that and also "Gigi" which I have NO idea how that started.
At 26 they still sometimes call me that, mainly Dad. Mum said she was going to call it me all the time if I carried on calling Amelia Grace by the name I started calling her.
Before Amelia was born we said we would call her Milly for short... when she arrived though she didn't look like a Milly at all. When she got to about 3 months old I'd started calling her "Moo" or "Moo Moo". Everyine told me to stop but I'm not and BF calls it her now too. LOL. I'm sure she'll love it when she gets older!
