Izzy goes pretty much everywhere with me and she is a very socialized little girl.
She is a therapy dog so she is out with patients all the time. I also have many carriers for her and put her in those to take her to Lowes, HomeDepot, garden centers, furniture stores...pretty much everywhere there is NO food.
I also have a stroller for longer trips and outdoor cafe eating.
My suggestion for when you get your baby is to get her used to the carriers/strollers/leashes/harness right away.
