Muffin would bark at anything. She liked the sound of her own voice. Now, Kacee seldom barks. She might go a whole day and not bark at all. Last evening she was in the living room barking, so I got up to go see what it was that she saw and it was a plastic bag that had blown against a fence!

Neither of mine slept through the night as puppies. Their bladders were too small then, but they eventually did.

Early socialization with all types of situations and people, as well as other animals, definitely helps to cut down on the amount of barking they do. However, I'm sure there are some who do not fit the model here, either.
