Some Yorkies, especially those who come from questionable breeders, are prone to many health problems. Only buy from breeders who test their sires and dams and hope for the best.
Ellie has high bile acids (but not a shunt), she had pancreatitis, she had severe periodontal disease and she has allergies but she is soooo worth it.
