There are 7 of us and none of us drive a vehicle big enough to fit us all. Thats one reason why they want a limo. Another I think is because they are sooooe excited to go that they want to 'do it up'. Getting away from work or kids or grouchy hubbys, etc... for me that is not an issue. I do not have a hubby, kids or work on weekends. Getting out to me is an everyday occurrance. Yes Im lucky in that regard, but maybe not since I don't have the pleasure of raising kids or coming home to a hubby. I dunno... Im sure there are those who feel both sides of that.
Oh I have my own debt too... Im a single income homeowner going to school. But I also realize you can do MORE if you don't put sooo much into ONE thing. A limo for this day would be around $1000. Gas would be $50! Seems to me that they could have a night out or buy something they want or pay off a bill without that unnecessary extravagance. Thats how I get to do things that I want to do, by going simple and stressfree, enjoying myself when I do indulge like the ticket for this concert.
