Poor baby. I'm so relieved to read that she is OK.
I think the owner should be confronted! I'm not sure if you took your baby in to be checked by a vet or not, but I would if I were you and I would demand that the owner of the lab pay the bill.
If that lab were my dog, I would have been apologizing profusely and following up with you. That's the right thing to do.
I hope Ginger continues to do well, but if she would have an injury that doesn't show up until later, you will be stuck paying the bill, so take her in today.
