The pet store I am going to has a Vet in the building who I called today and she is going to help me pick out everything I need... my husband is a little upset about not being able to put the Air Conditioner on for the next few weeks but too bad! LOL ....The major thing the Vet talked about with me was keeping him warm because he is so young...

Also, Thanks so much for the warm wishes... knowing that all will turn out okay so long as I take extra care is very good to know and look forward too.
It sounds like you'll do fine. Just make sure the vet doesn't talk you into over buying. When he gets older sometimes the best toys are hanging out in your hamper (aka sock toy) One thing I do with teddy(he's 8 months now) is when I take him to the store I left him try to pick out a toy(I'll put a few out of his reach on the floor and see which one he takes to). But yeah i hope he's ok. You might have alittle teapot on your hands. Teddy is one he just weighed at 15lbs two days ago.. and he only eats a cup of food a day(I think it's all muscle from his playtimes with other pets).

Get your husband a fan. Not a whimpy one one I have at my parents was like 50 bucks but it's like an industrial strength one(without the look) it looks kind of like an old fashioned whistle(can be turned 360 up and down). A fan might help with the no A/C
