I took out the carpet, put pre-stained hardwood in, and love it. They do go on the floors sometime and I just have to get down on my knees and look for pee spots. Vinegar works well. I carpet the stairs and landing. My 4-month girl sometime goes on the carpet landing, Bissell green machine is very handy. I would like to find a good hardwood cleaner and wax if possible.
